The municipalities of Cuijk, Grave and Mill and Sint Hubert work together in the CGM Work Organization.
When did you switch to i-View and why?
After the merger of Cuijk and Grave, it was decided in 2005 to transfer everything to a single telemetry system. Several systems were considered, and the final choice fell on i-View. The main reason for this choice was the graphical display of the application. The fact the complete overview is displayed on one screen was considered a major advantage. What’s more, i-View was by then already web-based with proven security.
How do you feel about using i-View?
I still like using i-View. It is very user-friendly; when you show i-View to team members in the field, they immediately grasp how it works. No complicated instructions needed, no big explanation, which works well. What helps here is that you cannot get much wrong in the system, for instance by pressing certain buttons. This highlights another great advantage: the application’s logbook stores everything. So it’s always easy to retrace everything. In the event you have made a mistake, you can always find it back and reset the settings. Also, the fact that the connection is in real time is very useful. For example, if you are on the phone to a technician working on site, you can watch along in real time. There are no delays, as with many other systems.
Can you name another advantage?
Our contact persons at i-View know their stuff, they are genuinely knowledgeable about the system. If the local authority has ideas about a certain functionality, how this could be more useful or if they are missing something in the system, this can always be discussed. Where possible, the i-View application is subsequently modified.
Very positive overall
Both gentlemen agree that i-View takes work off their hands. “We really feel like a client, an important client! We never have to wait long, we receive support immediately. It feels good.”

When did you switch to i-View and why?
The local authority of Dordrecht has been using i-View’s predecessor since the end of the 80s. One of the reasons was because we didn’t want to work with a closed system. To be honest, we were initially reluctant when i-View was introduced. Innovations have to be given the opportunity to prove themselves first. Pilots took place, but the choice for i-View was soon made. We switched over step by step, until everything was transferred. Within two years all pumping station of the local authority of Dordrecht were connected on i-View. Dordrecht is one of the first i-View users.
How do you feel about using i-View?
Simply perfect! It is a very reliable system and everything is possible in consultation. Where possible, we are able to make adjustments ourselves and it is very user-friendly.
Can you name another advantage?
You take work off our hands, I really consider that a plus. And, a very pleasant working relationship is another advantage. The latter is also very important in the event of any issues. With you, I get to speak to people who are knowledgeable about telemetry and software, but are also familiar with the working of a pumping station so that issues are just simply resolved.

When did you switch to i-View and why?
About 15 years ago, we were looking for a management system. We compared various suppliers. At the time, we opted for Telview, i-View’s predecessor. The project advisor at the time was so enthusiastic that we knew this was a good choice. But even now, we still deal with enthusiastic team members and it feels good to work with them. This great relationship is one of the reasons we enjoy being an i-View client.
How do you feel about using i-View?
It works just fine. We could probably do more with i-View, we only use a selection of the programme’s features. The option for documenting is very useful. What’s more, i-View is very user-friendly. For instance for people carrying out maintenance and who are working on a pumping station; all information is displayed immediately when they open i-View. Modifications are also immediately visible.
Can you name another advantage?
If you compare i-View to other systems, it also shows how flexible it is. It is easy to adjust the displays, you can have the layout exactly how you want it. I am enthused and happy with the system.
